Earlier this week, the Atlanta Chapter of the National Black Radio Hall of Fame (NBRHOF) inducted 8 members of the radio community into its Hall of Fame. Congratulations to former WVEE morning show host and program director, Mike Roberts, former WAOK late-night host Zilla Mays, former #reporter for WIGO radio and WSB-TV, Lorenzo “Lo” Jelks, former owner of WATV-AM Shelley “The Playboy" Stewart, Owner and General Manager of WZZA, Tori Bailey, Nashville and Winston-Salem, NC legendary Blues announcer James “Jim Starr” Spates, founder of WJFX cable radio station, Louis Dinwiddie, and record promoter, Charles Geer.
